Danhausen & ESPN ‘Freeze Tour’ Announced For WWE SummerSlam 2026 Week

Danhausen and ESPN are teaming up for a “Freeze Tour” during WWE SummerSlam 2026 week, with frozen treats to be dealt out in a number of locations throughout Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This weekend will see WWE take over the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the two-night SummerSlam 2026 premium live event, but it turns out the company’s presence in the city will be felt a few days before night one of the show kicks off on Saturday, August 1.

As confirmed in a new press release shared by Cageside Seats, Danhausen and ESPN are teaming up for the WWE SummerSlam Freeze Tour, a four-day tour through Minneapolis where free frozen treats will be dished out in a Danhausen-themed bus The tour runs between Thursday, July 30 and Sunday, August 2.

WHAT:

Ahead of the biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam, ESPN and WWE invite fans to enter the wonderfully weird world of Danhausen with the debut of the Very Nice, Very Evil SummerSlam Freeze Tour – a one-of-a-kind roaming popsicle truck serving frozen treats, unexpected surprises and photo opportunities in Minneapolis.

From Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, humans brave enough to approach Danhausen can choose their frozen fate: VERY NICE or VERY EVIL, as the truck makes stops throughout the greater Minneapolis area from Downtown East Commons Park to the Convention Center and U.S. Bank Stadium. Fans can test their luck by spinning a flavor wheel to have their frozen treat selected for them.

Tune into SummerSlam streaming live on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited subscription on Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday, Aug. 2 beginning at 6 p.m. ET. Because every human should witness SummerSlam. Danhausen approves.

As confirmed during the Monday, July 20 episode of WWE Raw, Danhausen will be taking on AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio in his SummerSlam debut, a match which has now been confirmed to be taking place during Night Two of ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ on Sunday, August 2.

Danhausen commented on the announcement of the WWE SummerSlam Freeze Tour, in a video shared on social media, saying:

“Greetings humans, it is I Danhausen and I’m coming to Minneapolis for SummerSlams. That’s right, and we are not coming empty handed.

“No, this Thursday July 30, Danhausen and ESPN are bringing the Very Nice, Very Evil SummerSlam Freeze Tour roaming about from Downtown East Commons Park, to the Convention Center and beyond for a Very Nice, Very Evil frozen treat.

“Oh, isn’t that nice. And then you can watch SummerSlam streaming on the ESPN app on ESPN Unlimited plan on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2. And if you don’t then you are cursed.”
