Legendary WWE Team Set For In-Ring Reunion After Seven Years WWE

WWE Hall of Famers Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) and D-Von Dudley are set to reunite in the ring for the first time in seven years.

Team 3D (Dudley Boyz) will be brought back next month, when Bully Ray and D-Von team together at IMPACT 1000 on September 9.

While this appearance had previously been announced, IMPACT has now taken to social media to confirm that the duo will be in action, wrestling together in a tag-team match.

IMPACT tweeted:

We can officially confirm that Team 3D (@bullyray5150 and @TestifyDVon) will be IN ACTION together for the first time in 7 years at #IMPACT1000 on September 9 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY!

The duo last teamed together at the December 16 House of Glory VI event, competing in a tag-team fourway bout for the HOG Tag Team Title.

Following this, D-Von Dudley continued to work as a producer for WWE until earlier this year when he left the company, while Bubba Ray returned to IMPACT Wrestling as Bully Ray.

D-Von hasn’t wrestled since this 2016 bout and has been dealing with a number of health issues in recent years.

The Hall of Famer stated that he was told by doctors not to wrestle anymore following his spinal fusion surgery in February 2022, but revealed earlier this year that he underwent medical tests to determine if he’d be able to return to the ring.

Team 3D’s opponents for IMPACT 1000 haven’t yet been announced.
