A former Ring of Honor name was spotted backstage at the IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view tonight (November 18).
There was a well known former booker backstage for IMPACT Wrestling’s recent Over Drive pay-per-view, working as a producer.
According to a report from PWInsider, backstage at the event, former Ring of Honor name Hunter “Delirious” Johnston.
This marks the second time that Delirious has worked with IMPACT for a producer role.
Previously rumored to be happening at the event, was a role of an entirely different sort.
According to the same report from PWInsider, there was creative pitting Eddie Edwards against Delirious for this pay-per-view in a match.
The match was never announced leading to speculation that it was due to changed plans.
Notable other matches on the Overdrive card include IMPACT World Tag Team Champions, Heath and Rhino taking on challengers The Major Players (Brian Myers and Matt Cardona) for the titles.
Will this pay-per-view mark the last appearance of Cardona on IMPACT before returning to WWE alongside real life wife Chelsea Green?
We’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
Also on the card, another match in Mickie James’ Last Rodeo where she will take on Taylor Wilde.
The on-going match stipulation for James is that if she loses, she retires so every match is a retirement match in the last rodeo!
