With a year left on their IMPACT Wrestling contract, one wrestler has gone into detail as to why they’re hoping to stay with the company when their contract expires.
Heath (formerly Heath Slater) debuted at Slammiversary in 2020 and has gone on to be a mainstay in the company.
Talking about his time in the company to Miami Herald’s Jimmy Varsallone, Heath explained that:
“The whole atmosphere at IMPACT is fun and loose, to where you don’t have to really walk around on glass and eggshells. You can literally breathe, relax, have a good time, crack up.”
Reflecting on the creative input he gets to have in IMPACT, Heath was hopeful for his future in the company, saying:
“That’s the main part I love about IMPACT is that they get behind you and your ideas. I feel like the best is still to come because I’ve still got a year on my contract with IMPACT, so I just feel like I’ve just begun right now.”
He’s also very much got his eye on his future as an in-ring performer, suggesting that he will stay with IMPACT longer, if the opportunity arises:
“There’s still a lot for me and for me to do. So I’m excited more about this coming up year than I have been this last year.”
