GUNTHER Names Top WWE Stars As Dream Opponents

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER has names several top stars as his dream opponents.

Since his WWE debut in 2019, GUNTHER has wrestled many notable names on NXT UK, NXT and SmackDown.

Speaking with My San Antonio, GUNTHER noted that there are a ‘big selection’ of stars for him to share the ring with.

Naming the likes of Finn Balor and Brock Lesnar as stars he wants to face, GUNTHER said:

 “I think there’s a big selection to be honest. Some of the best wrestlers in the worlds are in WWE. I’m really bad at naming dream matches, but I always wanted to wrestle Finn Balor. AJ Styles will be a great match.

“Obviously, Brock Lesnar will be fantastic. At some point, if John Cena is ever possible, that would be great. Roman, obviously is there. Drew McIntyre is a match that I think could be very exciting for our audience.

“So, I think we have a lot of really good scenarios and possible matchups, exciting matchups for our fans.”

WWE appeared to be building to a GUNTHER vs Finn Balor NXT UK Title match in early 2020, before plans were halted by the pandemic.

Previous reports have indicated that there have been discussions about a GUNTHER vs Brock Lesnar showdown at WrestleMania 39 in April.
