IMPACT Wrestling Star Opens Up About Handling Online Negativity IMPACT Wrestling

An IMPACT Wrestling star has opened up about the negativity that they receive online and why they don’t block it.

As Pride Month draws to a close, Gisele Shaw discussed negativity with Denise Salcedo having come out of transgender in June 2022.

While this has garnered attention online and in the real world, with comments from Rick Steiner being previously reported, Shaw spoken about negativity, saying:

“It’s something that I actually had to learn how to deal with because no matter if it’s a positive or negative comment, I see it all online.

“And Impact did say, ‘Hey you know we can block those so you don’t have to see it.’

“I think for me it’s so important that I see those because those are – it’s a part of me to grow and be like, ‘You know what, those comments, they shouldn’t affect me’.

“At the end of the day, no matter who you are, no matter what you are, people are going to say something no matter what.

“Because somewhere, someone out there is very unhappy, or they just want to stay relevant, or they want to be in the conversation to feel like they’re included.

“Whatever they do doesn’t reflect what I do, and that’s something that I had to learn and be like, ‘You know what? It’s not me, it’s them.'”

Shaw would also describe how the company has been supportive of her, saying that she is “just fortunate” to be able to work somewhere that is “like your second family.”

WWE NXT’s Bron Breakker has recently addressed the reported comments made by his father towards Shaw saying that it “not a reflection of who I and what I’m about.”

Shaw joined Impact in early 2022 making her debut on February 10 of that year and facing Lady Frost on the February 17 episode of Impact!

She is also due to be a contestant on The Amazing Race Canada alongside Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim.
