IMPACT Wrestling is set to make a “major international announcement” later this week.
Earlier this summer, IMPACT Wrestling hosted a tour in Australia entitled, “IMPACT Down Under,” marking their first major international tour since the pandemic.
Per PWInsider, IMPACT sources indicate that the company will be making a “major international announcement” on Thursday, July 27.
The nature of the announcement and whether it will be a tour or major event remains to be seen.
IMPACT Wrestling is coming off the heels of one of their biggest shows of the year with Slammiversary earlier this month.
In the main event, Alex Shelley defeated Nick Aldis to retain the IMPACT World Championship. Post match, Josh Alexander made his return to confront Shelley.
Meanwhile, Trinity defeated Deonna Purrazzo to win the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship.
