Since their rebrand, there has been a significant focus on NXT 2.0 characters and now a new report reveals how much input the stars have.
In his latest Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about how much input the NXT talent have on their characters now.
Sapp answered:
“More than they used to. I hear of pitches made quite often these days that are pushed through. I’m not gonna say it’s a great amount in general, but it’s more than I used to hear about. There are some that had an incredible amount of input, but the lower and underneath guys do as well.”
This is definitely a welcome change that shows growth in how the company is handling their developmental talent.
As previously noted, SRS also addressed Cody’s situation with WWE during this same Q&A session.
