John Cena Comments On Cody Rhodes Finishing His Story At WWE WrestleMania 40 WWE

Following his surprise appearance in Philadelphia, John Cena has now commented on Cody Rhodes finishing his story at WWE WrestleMania 40.

During what was a massively eventful main event of WrestleMania 40 Night Two, 16-time world champion John Cena made a surprise appearance to aid The American Nightmare in his battle to dethrone Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

After Jey Uso had successfully warded off his brother Jimmy, Cody was faced with further Bloodline interference shortly thereafter as The Enforcer Solo Sikoa attempted to do cost Cody the title for the second-straight WrestleMania.

Thankfully for Cody however, Sikoa would be met by a ghost of his recent past as John Cena would return to take out the man who dismantled him back at Crown Jewel 2023.

While Cena would be taken out by The Rock not long afterwards, Cena’s role was enough to eventually lead to Cody’s big championship victory – going on to celebrate with Cody and many other WWE stars in the ring afterwards.

Once the dust had settled on the night’s action Cena would then jump on Twitter to send a message of congratulations to Cody on his win.

Cena wrote:

Grateful to spend time with the #WWE Universe & be a part of #WrestleMania!

Congratulations to @CodyRhodes on a history making achievement!

And the best part of it all… the @WWE story NEVER ENDS!!!!

Cena was far from the only person to comment on Cody’s crowning achievement, with his sister Teil and brother Dustin both posting messages to their younger sibling following WrestleMania.

As well as the WWE stars, a star from AEW was also spotted at the Lincoln Financial Field for Cody’s big night – follow this link for more details.
