GCW World Champion Jon Moxley will face Nick Gage in a Title vs Career match.
During the August 13 GCW Homecoming event, Moxley defeated EFFY to retain his gold. After the bout, Gage confronted Moxley, demanding a shot at his title.
Moxley said that he’d only give Gage another shot at the GCW World Championship if Gage was to put his career on the line in the bout.
Gage accepted Moxley’s challenge. A date for the bout has yet to be announced.
Moxley won the GCW World Title in September 2021 from Matt Cardona, who had won the gold from Nick Gage that July. Gage challenged Moxley for the gold that in a deathmatch that October, but came up short.
Gage became the first talent to sign a GCW contract in February.
Moxley is also currently the interim AEW World Champion, winning the gold at Forbidden Door in June during official champion CM Punk’s absence.
Punk made his return on the August 10 edition of Dynamite: Quake By The Lake to confront Moxley.
