Here is the latest on Cody Rhodes’ WWE absence, following confusion about his possible return to the ring.
Rhodes has been out of action since early June after tearing his pectoral muscle completely off the bone.
After wrestling with the injury at the Hell in a Cell premium live event, Rhodes was written off TV following an attack at the hands of Seth Rollins.
Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there have been no complications in Rhodes’ rehab following his surgery.
It was also noted that WWE is working on documentaries for both Cody Rhodes and the American Dream Dusty Rhodes.
Although WWE initially stated that Rhodes was expected to be out of action for nine months, an upcoming WWE venue has potentially spoiled Rhodes’ return to the ring.
Cody Rhodes recently provided his own update on his recovery during San Diego Comic Con, which you can read more about right here.
