WWE Legend Reveals Ongoing Financial Dispute With Company

WWE Legend Reveals Ongoing Financial Dispute With Company WWE

A currently signed WWE legend has revealed an ongoing financial dispute with the company in relation to underpaid royalty checks.

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash revealed that he and others he have spoken to have noticed their payments have dipped significantly.

Nash even warned that if it doesn’t get resolved he will be taking the issue up with WWE’s new ownership, saying:

“I didn’t get a dollar on NWO.”

“It should be 150% of what I normally get (in the next period), and if it’s not I guess I’ll be putting a piece of paper in Ari’s (Emmanuel’s) hand.”

While Nash’s WWE income has dropped he did reveal that the company have attempted to make good on the decrease by ensuring other income via an inclusion in WWE video games as well as future Nash Funko Pop character.

However, despite this, Nash isn’t impressed with the compromise on WWE’s end, saying:

“It’s like, I don’t give a f***.

“I don’t care if I’m getting 7% of the Heinz ketchup packages that you sell to the ballparks, I want the f***ing royalties to what you’re selling to f***ing Walgreens and Walmarts and everyone else in the big 16oz Heinz bottle, I want the bucks.”

“Give me all the Funko’s you want, I don’t get 17% of the Funko’s.”

While WWE may have trouble on their hands if this issue isn’t resolved, its current TV product has been getting praise, specifically the ongoing Bloodline saga which saw a major development on Friday Night Smackdown (June 16).

Following Jey Uso’s shock exit from the Bloodline and joint attack on Roman Reigns with his brother Jimmy, the family is set to undergo a civil war of sorts at the Money in the Bank event on July 1.
