Ohhhhh boy… Impact Wrestling has announced that Sami Callihan will face Jimmy Havoc in a Monster’s Ball match at the United We Stand show on April 4.
If you’re not familiar with the Monster’s Ball match, the gimmick is that the competitors are locked away without light, food or water for 24 hours, before being unleashed into a no disqualifications environment.
Try explaining that one to your non-wrestling-fan friends.

This is a rematch from the Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Massacre match that the WrestleTalk crew witnessed live at Wrestling MediaCon as part of Impact vs. The UK last November, and if that, and these two guys’ past are anything to go by, we’re going to be saying “ouch” a lot.
It was recently revealed that Jimmy Havoc had signed with AEW, but that is not an exclusive deal and does allow him to wrestle for other companies. This is the third match confirmed for United We Stand. The Lucha Bros. will take on the returning Rob Van Dam and Sabu, while an Ultimate X match will also take place. The Ultimate X competitors will be revealed over the coming weeks.
Impact United We Stand takes place on April 4 emanating from the Rashway Rec Center in New Jersey. Tickets are available here.
