Nattie (Natalya) Neidhart has called out a former WWE star for a fight at an upcoming show outside the company.

A key feature of WrestleMania week each year is that around WrestleMania itself, there are always several indie shows held in the surrounding area as well.

One of the most prominent events in that category in recent years has been GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, which is an MMA style show in a ring with no ropes and matches ending by knockout or submission, not by pinfall.

The tradition will continue this year, and as has been the case with recent Bloodsport events, some WWE names will be involved in the action.

Pete Dunne has already been confirmed to be facing Masashi Takeda, while Nattie is another one of the names announced for the card.

She doesn’t have a confirmed opponent yet, but she seems to have a good idea who she wants to face – former WWE Shayna Baszler.

On social media today, Nattie posted:

IN ORDER FOR NATTIE TO SURVIVE, I NEED TO FIGHT THE VERY BEST.

Shayna Baszler WWE Status

Baszler was released by WWE in May 2025, but has since remained with the company in an unofficial capacity in NXT.

She has had something of a coaching role at recent tryouts, as well as making some appearances on NXT TV, including a recent segment where she taught Kelani Jordan MMA ahead of Jordan’s Underground match against Lola Vice.

As of December, she said that she wasn’t signed to any contract with WWE despite her NXT role to that point.

Baszler has already been confirmed for Bloodsport, so it seems like this match could be made official soon.

It also suggests Baszler remains on good terms with WWE despite her departure last year, as the company would likely have to approve the opponents for its talent on external shows like this.
