WWE Hall of Famer and recent AEW signing Ric Flair has poured praised upon MJF following their recent meeting.
Flair signed a two-year contract with AEW having been brought in as part of Sting’s retirement storyline.
The Nature Boy met MJF last night with Dynamite featuring the AEW World Champion closing the show as the victim of a Jay White-led beatdown.
Footage from the in-ring encounter can be seen below this new story as we continue towards White vs MJF at AEW Full Gear on November 18, 2023.
Flair shared his thoughts on MJF, having met the star last night, on Twitter, writing:
“I Met @The_MJF Last Night. OMG! He Has THE GIFT! I’m Honored To Have Met You.
“Looking Forward To Working With You & Our Relationship Going Forward.
“You’ve Got A Gift That So Few Have! You’re Special! WOOOOO!”
Paul Wight has recently commented that MJF reminds him of a modern-day Ric Flair.
As for MJF, he isn’t averse to the idea of a match with Flair, it seems, having tweeted the suggestion of a “buried alive match“.
MJF has recently discussed how he had “zero confidence” in being a fan favorite.
