An injury update has emerged on SmackDown star Rick Boogs, who is preparing for a ‘massive’ comeback.
Boogs notably suffered a serious injury at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022.
While teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura to challenge for The Usos’ SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Boogs tore his quadricep and patellar tendon.
Boogs has now shared several videos to YouTube of himself training for his return to the ring.
In one video, titled ‘Start of a MASSIVE comeback’, Boogs did some heavy deadlifts to the famous Rocky Balboa ‘Gonna Fly Now’ theme.
In another, Boogs put his legs to work by jumping rope, pushing his car, and more.
Boogs has always been in incredible shape, but it looks very promising that he’s able to perform these leg exercises with the intensity he does in the videos.
It is currently unclear when Boogs will return to the ring, but it seems he’ll be wanting to prove that he’s fighting fit soon.
