WWE Star Pushes For Singles Match Against Seth Rollins: ‘I’d Love To Test My Grit Against Him’

Ricky Saints has named his goals in WWE, revealing who he’d like to test his grit against, and the arena he wants to wrestle in.

With Saints arriving on the main roster in May, the star is now establishing himself as a competitor on the SmackDown roster.

During an interview with LaJunta+, Saints was asked if there’s anyone he’d like to wrestle who he believe would be a challenge for him.

Naming two stars, Saints said:

“You know, a big challenge I think would be wrestling Brock Lesnar, that’d be a big challenge for me. Beyond that, I’d love to test my grit against Seth Rollins in a singles match as well. I’m very curious about that, also.”

Brock Lesnar has announced his retirement since that interview was recorded.

Interviewer Camila Castillo stated that it feels like Saints is the king of manifestation, realizing many of his goals and dreams.

When asked for his future goals, Saints said:

“I think that the next thing I want that is on my bucket list, I’d really love to wrestle in the Superdome in New Orleans, my hometown. That’s the one in front of me.

“Beyond that I’d love to go and actually win the United States Championship, then go on and become WWE Champion, those are the main goals as well.

“For right now, to give you something that’s right in front of me, I really want to wrestle in the Superdome, and it will happen.”

Saints and Rollins notably met in four-way action on the June 8 Raw episode, also facing off against Talla Tonga and eventual winner Je’Von Evans in a King of the Ring first-round match.

The Superdome was notably the location of WrestleMania 30 and 34. It was originally announced to be the venue hosting WrestleMania 42, before the April 18-19 show was eventually moved to Nevada’s Allegiant Stadium.

WWE’s next visit to New Orleans will be for Money in the Bank, which will emanate from the Smoothie King Center on October 10.

With Saints also expressing interest in competing on this card, it would make a lot of sense for Saints’ second main roster premium live event appearance – following Night of Champions in June – to take place in his hometown.
