The Rock Praises Top WWE Star After Return WWE

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has now taken to social media to share love for WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.

The Rock made his return on the January 1 ‘Day 1’ edition of WWE Raw, confronting Jinder Mahal, before dropping the ex-WWE Champion with his Spinebuster and People’s Elbow.

Following this, The Rock teased a feud with WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, hinting that he wants to sit at the head of the table.

This was not the only piece of gold The Rock had his eye on during Monday’s taping, with the Hollywood star spotted in a backstage interview holding Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship belt.

The Rock has now taken to Instagram to comment on his interaction with Rhea Ripley, telling her to keep kicking ass.

Also sharing love for Cathy Kelley, The Rock wrote:

I love black. She’s a badass. And I got famous for wearing a fanny pack. We had fun f**king around backstage 😈🥃

Love, appreciate and respect you champ @rhearipley_wwe – thanks for trusting me with your title, keep kickin’ ass and raising the bar 🖤💪🏾

Big shout to @cathykelley for being a total pro and having fun 🎤 👊🏾

Between comments from fans questioning what The Rock said he and Ripley were doing backstage, Rhea Ripley also replied to The Rock’s post, writing:

Wouldn’t let anyone else look after my baby 😉 Thanks for being a legend and making my night! Tequila next time 🥃

Rhea Ripley has been champion since defeating Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39 in April 2023.

This title was replaced by the WWE Women’s World Championship that June, which Ripley has defended ever since.
