On the go-home edition of NXT Level Up ahead of NXT’s premium live event, Great American Bash, find out how Thea Hail brought the heat.
In a match on Level Up, Chase U’s Duke Hudson took on Luca Crusifino in an enjoyable match that also served as Thea Hail’s last stop before the Bash.
The spitfire Chase U student was on hand to support Hudson after the match was previously set up in a digital exclusive clip where Crusifino insulted Chase U to which he alleged led to an “assault”.
Rather than suing Chase U, of course he’s settling this out of court and in the Performance Center ring!
The match wasn’t without involvement from Hail who helped turn things around for Hudson by distracting the ‘Legal Eagle’ Crusifino.
In the end, Duke Hudson – and by proxy, Chase U – picked up the victory headed into an important weekend for the stable.
Thea Hail is headed next the Great American Bash where she is set to face off against NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in a big match.
Not only is the match for the title, it is also a submission match!
Hail has proven herself as somewhat of a submission specialist after learning from Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey, and has actually made Stratton tap out twice in recent weeks with the Kimura lock.
