WWE
Two new matches have been announced for the upcoming April 18 and 19 WWE WrestleMania 42 premium live event.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown in Pittsburgh marks 22 days from WrestleMania.
A title change tonight saw Sami Zayn pick up the WWE United States Championship in a win against Carmelo Hayes.
A few minutes after that match, it was announced that Zayn will defend his newly won title at WrestleMania against his recent rival Trick Williams.

Elsewhere on WWE SmackDown, there was another match announced for Mania by General Manager Nick Aldis.
Last week, Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu brawled throughout the entire three-hour SmackDown show, which concluded with them falling from a ledge outside.
They were both bruised and bandaged tonight, but before they could get into another confrontation, Aldis told them they can get their hands on each other again, but they’ll have to wait.
Specifically, they’ll have to wait until WrestleMania, where they will face each other in an unsanctioned match, which in storyline means WWE isn’t accountable or liable for anything that happens in the match.
Big WrestleMania Plans Changed
The Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu match at WrestleMania marks a big change from what was planned previously.
As of earlier this year, when McIntyre won the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes, plans were for him to go into Mania still as champion, defending against Rhodes, with Fatu potentially being added to make it a three-way.
However, WWE changed course to instead have Rhodes win the title back from McIntyre and defend it against Randy Orton, with McIntyre and Fatu splitting off into their separate match.
You have to feel for McIntyre and the aforementioned Carmelo Hayes who have both been dropped from their title pictures just weeks out from WrestleMania.
