Undertaker Praised In New WWE Role

The Undertaker has been approached for his role as a coach on the WWE LFG series which premieres on A&E in February 2025.

The WWE Hall of Famer is part of a coaching team for future WWE prospects alongside Booker T, Mickie James and Bubba Ray Dudley.

An official sneak peek for WWE LFG, which is short for Legends & Future Greats) can be seen below this news story ahead of its February 16 premiere.

Speaking to The Takedown, Booker T opened up about The Undertaker’s role on the show, noting how he is taking the role seriously, saying:

“He’s as real as he possibly could be in this role. He’s as serious as he is. He’s probably the most serious guy in this whole damn thing, man.”

Booker T would then go on to explain how The Undertaker approaches his coaching role with the WWE prospects, stating:

“You know, because he, you know, you don’t want to tick him off.

“You know, you don’t want to, you know, crowd him or get too close to his space because he’ll bark at you. You know, he’ll bite a little bit.

“Yeah, it’s kind of crazy, you know, seeing him in this setting.”

As for the reason that The Undertaker is taking the approach he is, Booker T reflect on this being his fellow Hall of Famer’s first time as a coach, saying:

“But he’s passionate about what he’s doing with his kids, which for me, is very, very unique to see, you know, Undertaker in this role.

“To see him, his coaching style as well. Because, like I said, I’ve been doing it for 20 years. This is his first time actually in a coaching style setting a coaching role like this.

“How well will he actually do? Because my thing is, I’m like, man, this guy can’t, I mean, come on, just because you know how to do it don’t mean you can coach it.

“So he’s doing a hell of a job, and people are going to get a chance to see the real Undertaker at his finest, you know, teaching the next generation, you know, of superstars.”

Booker T started his own wrestling promotion in 2005, rebranding as Reality of Wrestling in 2012 with the company having its own training program for wrestlers.

ROW was one of the first training schools to be added to the WWE ID Program after it was launched in 2024.
