In late May 2023, Alexa Bliss revealed that she and Ryan Cabrera were expecting their first child, due in December this year.
Bliss would address her future in the WWE with a simple message that she “will be back” on social media.
She would also reveal that WWE have extended her contract and that she’s going to come back when she’s ready to do so.
On June 12, 2023, Bliss shared a new photo to her Twitter account revealing her baby bump, which can be seen below.
Bliss last competed in the ring at WWE Royal Rumble in January 2023, facing Bianca Belair in a losing effort for the WWE Raw Women’s Title.
It was previously reported that she appeared as a contestant on the Masked Singer, and has had skin cancer treatment during her absence.
It was also previously reported that she was scheduled to be in Los Angeles for WrestleMania 39 weekend, though didn’t feature in any matches.
Around the time of the report, Bliss stated that she was, indeed, set to be in LA for WrestleMania weekend, though would only say “you never know what’s going to happen” as to her reason for being there.
Before her pregnancy was revealed to the world, Bliss shared a message to fans saying:
“Just wanted to say Hi & love y’all. 🖤”
Bliss was one of several WWE names who were not included in the recent 2023 Draft.
