CM Punk Demands Respect For WWE Star After WrestleMania 40 Snub WWE

CM Punk, in his role as a broadcast journalist, has demanded justice for Bayley following her WWE Royal Rumble win on January 27 2024.

Punk recently appeared on the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show on the panel of experts, a week after having surgery for his torn triceps.

Speaking in a video posted to his Instagram Story that can be seen below, CM Punk took issue with Bayley not being on the WrestleMania 40 poster, saying:

“I just feel the need to, as a broadcast journalist, express the fact that… I really wanted to talk about Bayley and how she won the Royal Rumble for the women and she wasn’t represented on the poster. I felt that she needed a presence there.

“I got caught up talking about The Rock and Reigns and Cody and Seth and all of that, but very much in the main event mix is Bayley.

“She won the Rumble, don’t forget it. Put some respect on her name.”

Punk also shared an updated version of the WrestleMania 40 poster, replete with Bayley, which can also be seen below.

Bayley has also reacted to her absence from the poster for the April 6 & 7 premium live event, saying “it’s been happening too often.”

At WrestleMania 40, Bayley will be facing WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY after the tension within the group came to a head on the February 2 episode of WWE SmackDown.

In a recent video covering CM Punk’s Royal Rumble, it was revealed that Bayley had Punk’s back by removing a price tag from his top.

Punk is currently out of action having recently had surgery for his torn triceps that he suffered during the Royal Rumble.
