An influential name within WWE Creative has now commented on what went down between The Rock, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns on Thursday.
A face-off between Roman Reigns and The Rock was advertised for this week’s (February 8) WrestleMania XL Kickoff event.
While the cousins agreed to face one another in the main event of WrestleMania 40, Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes interrupted and confirmed that he will indeed be challenging for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at the upcoming event.
This led to a war of words which then got physical after The Rock slapped Rhodes onstage.
Brian Gewirtz has taken to Twitter to comment on this segment, writing:

It was previously reported that Brian Gewirtz will be in the mix as the voice representing Johnson in the WWE Creative process going forward, with some believing that Gewirtz will physically be around at major shows.
Brian Gewirtz is a former WWE head writer who notably works for The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions company as the SVP of Development.
