WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart has praised a number of recent NXT call ups when asked about his favourite current wrestlers.
Jimmy Hart has made a number of appearances on WWE television in recent years, most notably him accompanying Hulk Hogan for his appearance on the Netflix debut episode of Raw, which would end up being Hogan’s final ever WWE television appearance.
Hart is currently signed to a WWE legends deal, and he has given his thoughts on the current WWE product and roster, praising a number of new call ups.
Jimmy Hart Praises Sol Ruca, Ethan Page & Ricky Saints
Speaking on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Want To Talk About?, Hart noted that he still loves the WWE product, watching Raw, NXT and SmackDown every week.
He would then go on to praise Ethan Page, Ricky Saints and Sol Ruca as his favourite stars from the NXT brand at the time of recording.
He said:
“I still love the product. I still watch NXT on Tuesday, I watch Raw on Monday, I watch SmackDown, I love it all. People say, ‘Who do you like from NXT?’ I love Ethan Page, I love him, and I love Ricky Saints, and I love Sol Ruca. Sol Ruca reminds me of Charlotte Flair meets Je’Von Evans. With her acrobatic ability and his acrobatic ability.”

New WWE NXT Stars Replacing Recent Call Ups
The WWE NXT roster was recently hit hard with a large number of call ups to the brand’s top stars over the past few months, with Oba Femi, Je’von Evans, Trick Williams, Ethan Page, Ricky Saints, Sol Ruca, Blake Monroe and Fatal Influence all making their way up to either Raw or SmackDown.
In the meantime, many new faces have also been given the spotlight on the NXT brand to help fill the gaps left by the call ups, including the recent debuts of Naraku, Mason Rook, Tristan Angels and Lizzy Rain.
NXT has also helped put a spotlight on other newer faces, including the likes of Sean Legacy, EK Prosper and Dorian Van Dux, who all made their NXT debuts earlier this year following the initial call up wave.
