WWE Hall Of Famer Says Trish Stratus Set Women’s Wrestling Back Decades WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus returned to WWE television two months ago, where she set up a WrestleMania 39 match alongside Becky Lynch and Lita.

Trish remains on WWE television today, where she recently turned heel to begin a feud with Becky Lynch.

Trish has said that the current generation of the women’s division should be thanking her for paving the way for them, but another WWE Hall of Famer seems to disagree.

Taking to Twitter, Alundra Blayze (Madusa) called out Trish, saying that she set women’s wrestling back ‘decades’.

She said:

Trish has set the women back and turned them into a sideshow after all the work I did to get the women respected and legitimize them as the superstars that they are.

Do you really think I literally threw that title in the trash without a plan of longevity and meaning?

Trish brought in the blueprint that WWE used for decades that had to be UNDONE by the women who were inspired by men and the women that came before her. Trish made room for the Bella Twins and others, but I built a foundation for the 4 Horsewomen.
