Here’s who actually worked on the New Day’s new WWE entrance music, following rumors swirling about a potential return to the company.
With the New Day debuting their new music on Monday’s (February 3) Raw episode, A rumor picked up steam that legendary WWE composer Jim Johnston had returned to work on this new theme.
This was because the captions stated that entrance music “by Jim Johnston plays”, which has now been confirmed to have been an error.
Per Fightful Select, WWE has no plans to bring Johnston back, and those they spoke to within WWE indicated that this was a captioning error.
The report credited Sayzee for creating the song, with Mega Ran on vocals.
Mega Ran has now confirmed this, sharing a video of the New Day’s Raw entrance with the caption:
I’m performing on here. SURPRISE!
The blessings don’t stop! 🎤 S/O to @Sayzee_Yfrwn 💥
Mega Ran also shared several tweets confirming that Johnston didn’t work on the new version of the WWE theme.
Following the New Day’s presentation change, an interesting update has emerged on Jordynne Grace’s presentation after signing with WWE, with the owner of the rights to her ring name and entrance music confirmed.
