As mentioned, Raw received its lowest rating of 2018 last week, posting only 2.689 million viewers.
I think it’s probably fair to put that down to Backlash the night prior, and more specifically, the existence of Roman Reigns.
There were a couple of announcements made before Raw this past Monday to entice viewers, the main draw being WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins defending the “Workhorse Championship” against Kevin Owens.
This, on top of some Money in the Bank qualifier announcements, and the confirmation that Nia Jax will defend her WWE Raw Women’s Championship in Chicago on June 17, was enough to increase viewership by 56,000, posting a figure of 2.741 million viewers.
