Title Match & More Announced For WWE Raw Next Week

On tonight’s season premiere of WWE Raw (October 16) several big matches and angles were set up for next week’s show.

In a backstage segment, Drew McIntyre confronted Sami Zayn about his acceptance of Jey Uso which led to a match being made next week.

After initially starting a conversation with Zayn positively, saying that he was proud of how he had behaved as a locker room leader, McIntyre then turned sour.

Saying that he was disappointed that Sami would be so quick to accept and trust Jey Uso after his multiple Bloodline betrayals, Zayn would suggest they settle their difference of opinion in the ring next week.

Logan Paul was also announced for next week’s Monday Night Raw in Dallas after he is already set to appear on this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown on Friday October 20.

Also confirmed for next week’s Raw, an NXT Women’s Championship match featuring Becky Lynch defending the title against Indi Hartwell.

Hartwell memorably was never defeated for the NXT Women’s Championship, rather becoming injured and relinquishing the title before her main roster call up.

In a backstage segment, GUNTHER congratulated Ludwig Kaiser for his victory over Johnny Gargano but was irritated that he was still mobile.

He commanded Giovanni Vinci to take on Gargano next week and make sure Gargano needs to be taken away from the arena in a stretcher.

Gunther also pointed out that Vinci’s success is Kaiser’s responsibility.
