Zoey Stark has now commented on her alliance with Trish Stratus ending at WWE Payback 2023.
At the September 2 premium live event, Stratus faced off against Becky Lynch in a steel cage match.
This marked the first time the duo have faced off in singles action at a premium live event since Stratus defeated Lynch at Crown Jewel in May, following interference from Zoey Stark.
Since then, Stark has served as Stratus’ protege, helping her to one-up Becky Lynch ahead of this steel cage match.
While Stark did attempt to interfere in the cage match, Becky Lynch was ultimately victorious, defeating Stratus with a Manhandle Slam.
Following the bout, Stratus started to yell at Stark, leading to Stark dropping her mentor with her Z-360 signature move.
Stark has now shared a video of this moment on Twitter, which you can watch below.
Not regretting her decision, Stark captioned the post with a GIF, telling Stratus ‘buh bye’.
While Stratus’ future in WWE is currently unclear, the Hall of Famer has teased a rivalry with another major star.
