Impact Wrestling has announced a rematch between Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard at Unbreakable on August 2, but this time, the winner earns a shot at the World Championship.
Callihan and Blanchard made the headlines following their sublime match at Slammiversary on July 7, where it was ‘The Draw’ that picked up the win following a resilient showing from Blanchard.
What was perhaps even more significant was Callihan’s show of respect to Tessa after the match, handing her her baseball bat and giving her the ring to close out the show.

The pair were forced to team up in Impact’s Mashup tag team tournament this past week. They won the four-way tournament final by defeating the teams of Eddie Edwards and Moose, Jake Crist and Wentz, and Michael Elgin and Willie Mack, to earn the number one contenders match at Unbreakable.
Also at Unbreakable, which will stream on Impact+, Scott Steiner, Petey Williams and Jordynne Grace will team up, and new signing Rhino (Rhyno) will also be on the card.
