Tonight on the second-ever episode of Friday Night Smackdown on FOX, the WWE Draft is set to make a return. The draft will then continue a few days later on Monday Night Raw.
Representatives from both the USA Network and FOX are expected to be present at the show, picking distinct and separate rosters for Raw and Smackdown.
Although the draft will likely only be dividing up the rosters of Raw and Smackdown, it has been rumoured that a former WWE Champion could make his return to TV.
Sheamus has not been seen on WWE TV since the Smackdown after WrestleMania 35. It was believed that he was suffering with an injury.
It was reported that Sheamus has been cleared to return to WWE for a few weeks now, and some have speculated that the former Smackdown Tag Team Champion could feature as part of the draft.
With Sheamus’ former tag team partner Cesaro doing nothing of note on Raw, perhaps The Bar could reunite and give the tag team divisions of either Raw or Smackdown some much-needed star power.
Make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com, as we will have live coverage of what is shaping up to be a very important episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
