Joey Janela tweeted earlier this week that he was unhappy with AEW’s booking of him and he demanded a change. He instead went to Game Changer wrestling.
While at the Ghetto Event, Janela expanded on his tweets. Basically, he said he wanted to skip the line and wanted to challenge Jon Moxley.

As was reported in the WrestleTalk article, we believed the initial tweets were a work and part of a story. This seems to confirm this as being the case.
We’ve seen how The Young Bucks and Cody are willing to leverage social media as part of their storylines. Janela created some buzz with his tweets and now seems ready to challenge Moxley.
Moxley’s current story in AEW is that he is looking for someone to answer his challenges. At the end of this Wednesday’s show, Moxley turned his focus to Chris Jericho.
.@JonMoxley has offered another open challenge to the #AEW roster….Who will step up next?

Jericho didn’t look too eager to tangle with Moxley. Janela, on the other hand, is eager to make a statement and beating Moxley would definitely shoot him up the AEW Rankings.
This will be a rematch from their matchup at Fyter Fest. Moxley came out on top of that one. Can Janela win the rematch?
