Following reports that he would be returning to his commentary position on NXT tonight, Mauro Ranallo is indeed in Orlando for the show, reports PWInsider.
Ranallo hasn’t commentated since Corey Graves posted a tweet seemingly criticising him during TakeOver: WarGames, meaning he missed both Survivor Series and last week’s NXT.
Instead of Ranallo, former SmackDown lead announcer Tom Phillips filled in alongside Ranallo’s usual partners Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuinness next week.
Announced so far for tonight’s episode are Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain, and Rhea Ripley vs. Dakota Kai.
We will have live coverage of both NXT and AEW Dynamite here at WrestleTalk.com tonight.
