On Monday, it was announced that the XFL had filed for bankruptcy. In the days that have followed, it has emerged that WWE owned part of the league, leading some to question if investors had been misled.
Well, it has now been reported that following the news of the XFL going bankrupt, Vince McMahon was not best pleased during the live Raw TV taping that day.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, McMahon was “very grumpy” backstage at the Performance Center this week:
“I did hear from two different people who were at the tapings tonight and they said it was very obvious ‘the Old Man was not in a happy mood.’ He was very grumpy. I can’t imagine why.”
If you ignore the XFL, which will obviously have annoyed and angered Vince greatly, Mr. McMahon has a lot to be happy about at the moment.
Somehow, WWE has been classified as “essential media” by the Florida governor, allowing them to continue filming live shows despite the state-wide shutdown.
