The salaries of Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have been revealed in a recent filing.
It has previously been reported that Vince McMahon once again made the Forbes billionaire list. A new WWE filing has confirmed how much the chairman is earning from the company per year.
In a recent proxy statement to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, it was stated that McMahon received an annual base salary of $1,400,000 in 2021. McMahon is also able to participate in the Management Incentive Plan, with a target bonus of 100% of base salary.
This base salary makes up just a fraction of McMahon’s yearly earnings, with McMahon’s yearly total for last year being $3,900,000. Other revenue streams included stock awards, the incentive plan, and compensation.
It was also stated that if McMahon’s employment is terminated, the company are obligated to pay compensation and benefits, including a payment equal to 2 times his base salary, assuming the company meets minimum performance targets.
WWE President Nick Khan earns an annual base salary of $1,200,000, also with eligibility to also participate in the management incentive plan. Khan currently has a 5 year agreement with the company for his President and Chief Revenue Officer roles, for which he earned a total of $12,964,565 for last year, including a sign-on bonus of $5,000,000.
Triple H (Paul Levesque) earned a total of $2,300,000 in 2020, With Stephanie McMahon earning $2,100,000. The duo have booking agreements with WWE, which contribute to their base salaries. With their respective agreements, Triple H earns a minimum of $1,000,000 a year, and Stephanie a minimum of $750,000.
This statement was released ahead of WWE’s annual shareholder’s meeting, which will be held virtually on May 27, 2021.
