Christian Cage vs Ace Austin for the IMPACT World Championship has been announced for the upcoming Victory Road special on September 18.
During last night’s (August 20) Emergence show, Christian Cage defeated Brian Myers to retain his IMPACT gold. Also during the event, Ace Austin won a four-way to earn the right to challenge the World Champion.
It has now been announced that Austin will challenge for the IMPACT World Championship at Victory Road. IMPACT broke the news on Twitter:

Christian won the IMPACT World Title from Kenny Omega on the premiere episode of AEW Rampage. As you may have heard, the August 20 episode of Rampage featured the highly anticipated return of CM Punk.
The former WWE Champion has revealed that his appearance was purposely designed to be the “worst kept secret“. During his promo, CM Punk challenged Darby Allin to a match at All Out on September 5. Following the show, Allin addressed Punk’s challenge.
