Earlier today, Fightful Select reported that WWE had made overtures with Stone Cold Steve Austin for a match at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas.
In the report, Fightful noted that they had not heard a rumoured opponent for Austin on the show, but Kevin Owens would be the name who seems to make the most sense.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has since confirmed that a match between Austin and Owens has been discussed for WrestleMania 38 on April 2 or 3.
Austin has not wrestled a match in 19 years, since he lost his final match to The Rock back at WrestleMania 19.
