Mustafa Ali has taken to social media to react to his hometown loss at WWE Hell in a Cell, which emanated from Chicago’s Allstate Arena.
At the event, Ali unsuccessfully challenged for Theory’s US Championship. The finish of the match was fairly clean, with Ali missing a 450 splash and Theory capitalising on Ali’s hurt leg before hitting an A-Town Down.
Following the bout, Ali tweeted:
“i don’t even know man”
The bout marked Ali’s first match at a Premium Live Event since returning to WWE TV in April, after publicly requesting his release from the company.
Ali recently explained why he went public with his release request.
Following the US Title bout, John Cena has teased his WWE return, once again hinting at a clash with Theory.
