Buzz for SummerSlam is set to speed up at the Pocono raceway this weekend as NASCAR and WWE collide.
Peacock is sponsoring a WWE SummerSlam themed car, the number 7 car driven by Corey LaJoie.
While Peacock is sponsoring the car, not WWE directly, NASCAR and WWE have worked together frequently in the past with WWE stars frequently making appearances at races, including so far in 2022 the Undertaker and the Bella Twins.
Notably recently both WWE star Bianca Belair and AEW star Jade Cargill appeared at the same NASCAR race, although did not appear together.
Corey LaJoie may not be headed to the winner’s circle in the WWE SummerSlam car as he has yet to win a race during his seven years in the NASCAR Cup Series although had his first top 5 finish of his career in 2022.
WrestleTalk can’t help you with any more NASCAR statistics but we do have a plethora of wrestling stats to check out! Do you want to know the win/loss record for anyone the AEW roster? How about WWE, there’s Main Roster and NXT to choose from!
