Former ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham created headlines today, with it being reported that he requested his release from AEW/ROH prior to last night’s ROH Death Before Dishonor event.
Gresham requested his release prior to the show, which saw him lose the ROH World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli in a short opening match. Gresham also reportedly ‘cussed out’ Tony Khan at the event.
Those close to Gresham have claimed that he is ‘done with wrestling for the foreseeable future’ following the request, which left the future of his TERMINUS promotion up in the air.
However, the official Twitter account for TERMINUS was deleted following the ongoing saga, as well as Gresham deleting his own personal Twitter account.
