WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has commented on the buzz surrounding a potential Jade Cargill dream match.
Belair being part of the WWE roster and Cargill being signed to AEW has not stopped fans from discussing the possibility of an eventual dream encounter.
Conversation about a fantasy bout kicked up this past weekend after both the WWE Raw Women’s Champion and the AEW TBS Champion attended the QuakerState 400 NASCAR race.
In an interview with the New York Post, Belair clarified that she did not cross paths with Cargill at the event.
When asked for her thoughts on a potential dream match, Belair said:
“I’ve seen fans talking about it all the time. I feel like the fans always want something that they can’t have. But I always see the internet lighting up about it.”
Both athletes have a connection to Mark Henry, with Cargill previously considering the World’s Strongest Man a mentor, and Belair offered a WWE tryout by the wrestling veteran during her crossfit days.
It was reported earlier this year that WWE was interested in signing Cargill. You can read more about this right here.
Cargill is currently undefeated in AEW singles competition. Belair’s most recent loss came on the June 11 edition of SmackDown when she was defeated by Carmella via countout.
