An AEW star has sent a message of support to Jeff Hardy following the closure of his DUI court case as reported earlier.
It should come as no surprise that Matt Hardy has stood by his brother and shared his love.
He has previously shared his heartfelt hopes for Jeff and for a possible Hardy Boyz run in AEW.
In a report from February 24, 2023, the Wrestling Observer revealed court records show that the case is now closed after Hardy submitted a written plea of “nolo contendere” to all charges.
“Nolo contendere” translates from Latin as “I do not wish to contend” and is a “plea of no contest” without entering a guilty plea or admitting one’s guilt.
With this case now closed, Matt Hardy wrote on social media:
“Incredibly proud of my brother. For the last 9 months, he’s worked extraordinarily hard on himself.
“He’s in the best space I’ve seen him in for decades. I’ll always support him, believe in him & love him.
“I’m excited for your new lease on life & where it takes you.”
Jeff Hardy is still a member of the AEW roster but was suspended following his arrest.
His return to the company from suspension “upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety.”
