A recently returned AEW star is set to having their first singles match in the company now “the leash is off”.
Stu Grayson returned to AEW on March 15 and was confirmed to be, once again, All Elite by Tony Khan shortly after that evening’s Dynamite.
With Evil Uno suffering a concussion in the match between Uno, Grayson & Hangman Page against Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta of Blackpool Combat Club, Grayson had some choice words to say.
As previously reported, the animosity towards Moxley has now translated into a match on AEW Dynamite set for March 22.
Grayson had already stated that he intended to make Moxley pay for his treatment of Evil Uno which saw Moxley secure his 100th AEW win.
Now, Grayson gets his chance to settle his score with Moxley in what will be the Dark Order member’s first televised solo match in AEW.
With Moxley already established as a man who knows no limits in the AEW ring, Grayson has revealed the reason why he hasn’t competed in singles competition in the company before, although lines are clearly being blurred between truth and exaggeration.
Taking to Twitter, Stu Grayson stated:
“Next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, I have my very first singles Match on TV ever.
“I wasn’t allowed before because I tend to lose control when Uno isn’t around me, something about me being a liability to the company due to my anger issue and violence tendency.
“Now the leash is off.”
Moxley has had several bloody encounters in his time in AEW, resulting in one WWE Hall of Famer suggesting that he is “bleeding too much.”
The Public Enemies Podcast Twitter account recently shared an image of a bloodied Moxley from the first AEW House Rules show on March 18 in Troy, Ohio.
