AEW All In takes place at Wembley Stadium, London on August 27 and has now surpassed another ticket-selling milestone.
With, at the time of writing, no matches announced for AEW’s United Kingdom debut, it had previously been reported that the show had higher ticket sales that September 2022’s WWE Clash at the Castle.
The Cardiff, Wales premium live event had seen a live attendance of 62,296 and a live gate of $8 million.
Tony Khan had said that AEW All In had exceeded the $8 million mark and was closing on $9 million with “roughly at 65,000” ticket sales.
WrestleTix has now provided an update on ticket sales revealing that, as at 2:59am on June 5, AEW, 65,563 had been estimated as paid.
The current set-up for Wembley Stadium is for 75,003 seats with 9,440 still available at the time of the report.
At the time of writing, Tony Khan hasn’t commented on the news, though previously did comment on the decision to choose Wembley Stadium for AEW All In.
It has also recently been reported that Khan may have an interest in bringing WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg to the UK for AEW’s debut show.
Before AEW All In, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II takes place on June 25 in Toronto, Canada.
During NJPW Dominion, Bryan Danielson challenged Okada to a match at Forbidden Door II.
Also on that show, Will Ospreay defeated Lance Archer with the winner now facing IWGP United States Champion Kenny Omega.
