Following reports that Kairi Sane is set to return to WWE “imminently”, a potential spoiler on the exact plans for her has emerged.
Yesterday, both WrestleVotes and PWInsider reported that Sane is currently listed on the “miscellaneous” internal WWE roster after agreeing a deal to return months ago.
A further update has now emerged with Reddit user kerrmit125 – who has broken many accurate stories and has been verified by the mods on r/SquaredCircle as a credible source, and would not be permitted to post on the platform if he was not – also sharing a spoiler as to what the creative plans for Sane’s return.
They wrote:
“She is signed and plans have been in place for her return for weeks.
“She will join some friends very soon. No one is ready…..”
The last part of that, of course, is a strong hint that she will be joining forces with Asuka who is currently drafted to the SmackDown brand, and whose catchphrase is “No one is ready for Asuka”.
In Sane’s previous run with WWE, she and Asuka had been WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions together as the Kabuki Warriors.
Before recently re-signing, Sane officially departed WWE in December 2021.
Her last match with the company was actually in July 2020 but she stayed on board as an ambassador of sorts until December 2021.
Sane won the 2017 Mae Young Classic, and is a former NXT Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Her most recent match was for STARDOM on October 9.
Sane did post on Twitter a few days ago with what many fans took as her teasing a WWE return.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates – PWInsider is now reporting that Sane could return as soon as Crown Jewel.
