A WWE star has berated their former tag team partner, telling them to “grow some balls” after losing their way in recent weeks.
After making their names as a collective along with Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen seem on very different paths since their split in December.
Briggs turned heel on the January 23 edition of NXT, attacking Trick Williams and adding an edge to his character that he will hope can push him to big things on the brand.
Jensen on the other hand has seen his singles run thus far limited to NXT LevelUp, and based on an interaction with his former partner on this week’s NXT (February 6) the second generation star is feeling a lost on his own.
When Jensen proclaimed to Briggs that he felt this way, he was not met with reassurance from his old friend; instead being met with a harsh reality check.
Shoving Jensen into a locker, Briggs told his former partner to learn from both he and Fallon Henley and stop “living in the past”.
Briggs then gave Jensen two options, to “sit and cry” or “grow some damn balls”.
You can check out the heated interaction for yourself down in the embedded tweet below.
Elsewhere on NXT, Carmelo Hayes looked to explain his cold-blooded actions towards his own former tag team partner Trick Williams at Sunday’s Vengeance Day event (February 4).
