There is only one episode of Friday Night SmackDown ahead of WWE Money In The Bank 2026.

This show will hold some ramifications going into the company’s return to New Orleans on Saturday, October 10.

From title bouts to grudge matches, there is a ton of potential to announce some last minute additions to the card ahead of the big premium live event.

Here are four potential last minute matches to be added to WWE Money In The Bank 2026.

WWE Tag Team Championships: The MFTs (Tama & Talla Tonga) (c) vs. Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki)

Over the past few weeks, issues between The MFTs and Bakusai has dominated the SmackDown tag team division.

After having problems with The MFTs for months, Shinsuke Nakamura recruited Kyoki to make his WWE debut and join forces with him to form Bakusai.

On the September 18 edition of SmackDown, Bakusai picked up a disqualification win over the WWE Tag Team Champions thanks to interference from Haku.

Following some back-and-forth between the two duos in recent weeks, the company could announce Bakusai finally get a shot at the gold against The MFTs for WWE Money In The Bank 2026.

Blake Monroe vs. Giulia in a No DQ Match

Since Blake Monroe made her arrival on Friday Night SmackDown, she has been embroiled in a feud with Giulia.

The two former STARDOM talent have attacked and battled one another week after week.

Then on the October 2 episode of SmackDown, Monroe picked up a win in her first match on the blue brand against Giulia. However, “The Beautiful Madness” laid out Blake in a digital exclusive after the match.

Monroe and Giulia doing battle once more in a No DQ Match could make for an intriguing addition to the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 card.

Damian Priest vs. R-Truth

On the September 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The War Raiders defeated R-Truth and Damian Priest to retain the AAA World Tag Team Championships.

This led to the frustration overcoming Priest where he attacked his longtime friend and tag team partner Truth.

The duo formerly known as Wepa Time have now been at odds for weeks now.

Wanting to see this score being settled in New Orleans, Priest and Truth can finally go one-on-one at the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 premium live event.

AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Ricky Saints

Ricky Saints has had his eyes on Rey Fenix‘s AAA World Cruiserweight Championship for weeks.

On the September 11 SmackDown, Saints came up short against Fenix in his first title match, but there has not stopped his hunt for the championship.

Then on the October 2 episode of SmackDown, Saints and The War Raiders defeated Fenix and Fraxiom with Ricky pinning the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.

Ahead of his Intercontinental Championship match on WWE Raw, Fenix could get another successful defense under his belt against Saints at Money In The Bank 2026.
