On Sunday, August 23, TNA Wrestling will present their latest premium live event when they head to Chicago for Lockdown 2026.

With every match inside a steel cage, this is one of the most unique events in TNA or any promotion.

With the August 20 edition of TNA IMPACT to have the final build for the show, there could be some adjustments to Lockdown between now and showtime.

Here are six potential changes to TNA Lockdown 2026.

6. Trey Miguel vs. Agent Zero gets added to the card

Trey Miguel re-signs with TNA Wrestling

On the August 13 episode of TNA IMPACT, Trey Miguel made his return to the company from injury to team with BDE and Rich Swann in a win over Order 4.

After the match, Agent Zero attacked Miguel, BDE and Swann to give Order 4 the last laugh.

Later in the show, Miguel challenged Zero to a Steel Cage Match at Lockdown 2026.

While it has not been officially announced, Miguel vs. Zero looks to be a last minute addition to the card for TNA Lockdown.

5. Order 4 banned from ringside for Jason Hotch vs. Mustafa Ali for the TNA International Championship

Speaking of Agent Zero, his Order 4 faction will also have other focuses at Lockdown 2026.

On the July 30 episode of TNA IMPACT, Jason Hotch defeated Mustafa Ali to win the TNA International Championship.

This signaled Hotch’s exit from Order 4 and the biggest win of his career, but Ali got a measure of revenge by taunting his former protègè’s family and challenged him to a rematch inside a steel cage at TNA Lockdown 2026.

Now with this bout taking place in his hometown of Chicago, Ali has a home field advantage against Hotch, so he shouldn’t need the addition of Order 4 in his corner to make sure the two men find out who is the better competitor on August 23.

4. Lei Ying Lee gets added to the Xia Brookside vs. Elayna Black TNA Knockouts World Championship match

At TNA Slammiversary 2026, Xia Brookside defeated Lei Ying Lee to win the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

Then in a rematch, Brookside once again beat her former tag team partner to retain the gold.

Over the past few weeks, animosity has formed between Brookside and Elayna Black, leading to a title bout being made for TNA Lockdown 2026.

Despite this feud developing, there is a chance TNA could add Lei Ying Lee back into the fold by adding her to the Brookside vs. Black Knockouts World Title match at Lockdown 2026.

3. Moose vs. Frankie Kazarian becomes #1 Contender’s Match

While both men have established themselves as flagbearers for TNA Wrestling, Moose and Frankie Kazarian have not shared the squared circle on many occasions.

In fact, it was revealed that Kaz and Moose have never faced one another in a singles match in recent months.

This led to Moose challenging “The King of TNA,” but Kazarian turning him down and interfering in his match with AJ Francis.

Now that they will have their first ever meeting, Kazarian and Moose are two former TNA World Champions and deserve to be back in the mix, so the company should make this Lockdown 2026 bout a number one contender’s contest.

2. Leon Slater must also leave TNA Wrestling if he loses to Cedric Alexander for the X-Division Championship

On the May 14 episode of TNA IMPACT, Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater to win the TNA X-Division Championship.

This loss denied Slater the opportunity to become the sole longest reigning X-Division Champion in the title’s history.

Since then, Alexander has taunted and denied Slater’s challenges until he stated that he was willing to put anything on the line and Cedric suggested his historic title reign.

With this controversial stipulation, TNA Wrestling can go one step further by putting Slater’s career in the company on the line at Lockdown 2026 in Chicago.

1. TNA World Title on the line in The Hardys vs. The Nemeths TNA World Tag Team Championships match

The main event of Lockdown 2026 will see The Hardys defending the TNA World Tag Team Titles against The Nemeths.

With their rivalry that has spanned two years, this should be a heated steel cage match.

On the August 13 edition of TNA IMPACT, Nic Nemeth defeated Jeff Hardy to retain the TNA World Title.

Wanting to put everything on the line to make this a legitimate main event matchup, the company could put their top prize on the line for a title vs. title bout in the headliner at TNA Lockdown 2026.
