Brock Lesnar Final WWE Opponent After Oba Femi At WrestleMania 42 WWE

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in what was the biggest win of his career.

After the loss, Lesnar stayed in the ring to remove his gloves and boots to leave in a show of retiring from in-ring competition. Brock then hugged his longtime manager Paul Heyman before saying goodbye to the fans.

Despite this apparent retirement, it seems that some in WWE believe Lesnar is not officially done with wrestling as of yet.

With that mind, here are eight potential Brock Lesnar final WWE opponents.

8. Oba Femi

Oba Femi picked up a career defining victory when he defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 Night Two.

“The Ruler” now feels like he is the newest top star in WWE and could only rise in prominence moving forward.

After Mania, Femi may now be known as the man who retired Brock Lesnar, but that remains to be seen if “The Beast Incarnate” returns to the squared circle.

If Lesnar returns for one more match, it should be for a rematch against Femi, looking to take down “The Ruler” who has gotten the better of him over the past month.

7. Seth Rollins

Looking at the current WWE roster, Seth Rollins is one of the biggest stars on the roster and someone who is no stranger to Brock Lesnar.

Back at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, Rollins defeated Lesnar to win the WWE Championship. “The Visionary” then went on to pick up another victory over “The Beast” at WWE SummerSlam 2019.

With seven years since their last battles, it might be time for another showdown with one another.

Lesnar returning for one final match could be to avenge these losses in the past against Rollins, getting revenge for him sending Oba Femi after him during his rivalry with Paul Heyman and The Vision.

6. Jacob Fatu

Signing with WWE in 2024, Jacob Fatu has emerged as one of the fastest rising stars on the roster today.

Going from strength to strength, Fatu has displayed a great deal of intensity and unbridled rage that has made him look like a future world champion.

In the past, Lesnar has had plenty of history with Fatu’s family with memorable matches against The Rock and Roman Reigns.

Fatu could be next from the Anoa’i family dynasty to challenge Brock and face him in the final match of his legendary career.

5. Bron Breakker

Making his WWE debut in 2021, Bron Breakker has been pegged for success and to be a top star in the promotion.

The son of Rick Steiner has the size, power, strength and intensity to be a main eventer and a future WrestleMania headliner.

Since his arrival in the company, Breakker has drawn comparisons to Brock Lesnar and even more now since he aligned with Paul Heyman in The Vision.

Breakker being Lesnar’s final opponent would be quite fitting and serve as one final passing of the torch for “The Beast.”

4. Cody Rhodes

In 2023, Brock Lesnar feuded with Cody Rhodes in a pivotal feud for the rise of “The American Nightmare.”

This led to a trilogy of matches between Rhodes and Lesnar that was ultimately won by Cody with a victory at WWE SummerSlam 2023.

After that final bout, Lesnar showed his respect for Rhodes by shaking his hand in a surprising move.

Years later, Brock may choose to avenge that loss against Cody with these two men colliding in the final match of Lesnar’s career.

3. CM Punk

Another former rival of Brock Lesnar who could serve as an ideal final opponent could be CM Punk.

All the way back at WWE SummerSlam 2013, Lesnar and Punk did battle in one of the best matches in the history of the event.

On that evening in Los Angeles, Lesnar picked up a win thanks in large part to the involvement of Paul Heyman.

With both men being closely tied to one another due to their relationships with Heyman, Punk could be given one last opportunity to get his vengeance on Lesnar in a final encounter to end Brock’s career.

2. Roman Reigns

When the conversation of Brock Lesnar’s greatest rivals comes up, it feels like many fans state Roman Reigns’ name.

“The OTC” is someone who has battled with Lesnar on several different occasions over the past decade.

From their battles on the WrestleMania stage to competing over the WWE Championship, Reigns and Lesnar have become one of the defining rivals in each other’s careers.

Wanting to put a bow on their story, Reigns could be chosen as Lesnar’s final opponent to close out his iconic career once and for all.

1. GUNTHER

Over the past year, GUNTHER has earned the moniker of “The Career Killer” with wins over John Cena, Goldberg and AJ Styles to close out their careers.

It feels like GUNTHER will be called upon to end the career of any other legend who is looking to retire in WWE moving forward.

After his win over Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 42 Night One, GUNTHER is now owed a favor from Paul Heyman in the future.

Looking to get that favor by ending the career of another bonafide legend, “The Ring General” could want to be Brock Lesnar’s final opponent and put “The Beast” to rest as the latest iconic career that came to a close at his hands.
